@TomuxLT Ouch, I understand you totally , Creative Assembly fucked Poland in Med 2 teutonic knights, they often make mistakes . But they made great games anyway, worth playing
@JO1E1 well if empire tw had the graphics of napoleon it would be awesome, but i dont know which one is better for my taste. napoleon is better when it comes to graphics, motions, etc. empire has a much bigger campaign and way more factions. in napoleon u only have a few playable factions, which kinda sucks

The most funniest thing is: i think you don’t know anything about lithuania. The flag of lithuania till 1795 was knight in red background. And as Besik said: you can’t say it’s from poland or from lithuania because after liublin union Lithuania and Poland was same respublic.
like besik said after liublin union it was no poland or lithuania so you can’t say it was from poland and lithuania had winged hussars as well the. And yes only in lithuania-poland it was heavy.

yeah normal hussares were.. dont mark this guy’s comment as bad… but WINGED HUSSARS were 100% Polish cavalry and thats why they had white wings and red-white armours
True is, that is from hungary, but in hungary it was regular (how you said) light cavalary, in poland it transform in to heavy and was not regular, but it was noblemans who has most expensive armors, weapons and horses :/

I agree with almost all your arguments and yeah really hussars was from hungaria and Stefan Batory employed them from hungaria and in some time in Poland-Lithuania they from light cavalery became heavy cavalery and it was in same time in both countrys. But say it was only polish cavalery like Creative Assembley did isn’t good

Secondly, why do we have to argue? Come on… our nations crafter country which was one of the biggest powers in Europe. We’ve crushed Teutonic knights, we put our flag on Kremlin’s walls, we wrote second constituton in Europe. Yes we falled in 1795 but it was our nobles fault, both polish and lithuanians . Can’t we just admire our common heritage? Peace brothers

As you surely know , Stefan Batory became king in 1576 , after Union of Lublin in 1569. After that Union we had common defence policy, that means we had smilar types of army, well we had to in order to provide safety for our country. So you can’t say that it is Lithuanian invention because at that time only thing that differed our armies was formal divide into Royal’s and Ducal’s units(formal because it was very rare that our armies fought without each other at thiers side.)

Firstly, Polish-Lithuanian hussars were just husaria. There was no difference between hussars and winged-hussars in commonwealth because using wings was not obligatory. All you had to do to be in Husaria is being noble and being able to afford plate armor. Only if you wanted to, you could attach wings. (Usualy hussars used one wing, not as promoted in popular culture two). And form of Husaria in plate armor was introduced after Stefan Batory reforms who was hungarian king.
