@Athalston the 17th century was like 200 hundred years before nepoleon?
i dont get why they use there faction colors for their uniforms?
Sweden rocks!!!
Go sweden:)
sweden is the best in the world and the have cool custume
Ur deployment and use of riflemen is very bad. ur better in rome total war :p
You can’t say “the Swedes were best” and be done with it, for that would really be wrong. They had their matches.
That said, the guys who could equal them didn’t show up for damn near 2 centuries, so yeah…
@SuperKuribayashi And, what would playing PC all day have anything to do with losing a few battles. Also he has almost 2000 RTW battles.
yes, Sweden had the best generals, princeofmacedon was one of them
CAN YOU FUCKERS SHUT THE FUCK UP ?? SWEDISH GENERALS WAS THE BEST OF THEIR TIME! So dont say something else
@TheRoopeKonna I can see that you don’t want to be putting all your further responses here, so that it will look like you’ve stopped replying, and that’s fine. You can continue posting them to my account wall.
Academia is indeed a word, but it’s alright. I can see English isn’t your first language, no problem. Why not just look it up on Wikipedia, anyway?
@TheRoopeKonna Oh look, a little yappy puppy. Ignore me if you want, but you’re going to get laughed at or severely penalized for using Wikipedia as a source someday. Learn to academia.
@tyso7540
You do not know anything of me, so shut up.
I have no idea of sources, as well as you don’t have a single idea of how to behaviour, but i bet you couldn’t say that face-to-face, coward.
I won’t answer to your idiotic, senseless posts no more.
@TheRoopeKonna I have never been debating the quality of Swedish generalship. But you are absolutely wrong about Wikipedia. Those are not peer reviewed articles by experts. Those are by people off the street. Yes, people who are interested in topics often write them, but they are by no means as deeply informed as someone who writes those articles should be. You have no idea how to choose sources, it will threaten your arguments in the future.
@tyso7540
True.
But unfortunately you are wrong.
The writers thewre know as much about the thing as the professors and historians you talk about. The writers there are specially concentrated on the single century or decade.
Also, what is your point in this debate? You come here and talk about Wikipedia even that i never ever said half a word about it. Do you think swedish generals were NOT best of their time? I don’t want to debate anymore about a clear fact.
CASE CLOSED.
@TheRoopeKonna
No, historians are not writing Wikipedia articles. Some contribute, yes, but most can’t be bothered. Why? Because the articles are so full of holes and outdated ideas it’d take entire rewrites, and professors and historians have better things to do. I’ve heard enough professors rant about the nightmare that is Wikipedia.
As well, STOP CONTRADICTING YOURSELF. First, you say you would trust Wikipedia more than a proper history book that was a year old, then you’re not using Wiki.
@tyso7540
I trust both.
Those “historians with years of study behind” do the articles to Wikipedia. Definitely they are know-nothings. You are a know-nothing, if you speka such crap.
Second time i say this, I DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA AS A SOURCE OF HISTORY.
You have only accomplished to make me angry with your needless debates. Go fuck my mother, jackass.
@TheRoopeKonna You wouldn’t trust a history written by a historian, with years of study behind them, but would read the information provided by the know-nothings who edit Wikipedia? That’s bloody frightening.
As well, I’m not debating any points of history. Only debating your poor selection of sources.
@tyso7540
Nein.
My information is not from Wikipedia. This information is a fact well-known throughout the world.
And well, i would trust Wikipedia more than a history book written in 2009.
@TheRoopeKonna But on Wikipedia, the information is so outdated, incorrect and useless for anything more than a cursory glance. Anyone who thinks Wikipedia is a reliable source is out of their mind.
hakkapelitas RULEZ
sverige FTW!
nice battle
@SuperKuribayashi yeah, i saw a Napoleon total War loss a second ago, but i have yet to find an empire loss
@masterskyrunner No, he lost few battles, by the way, he doesn’t play PC all the day, as maby you do, that’s the rison why he has small number of online battles posted, and as I said he lost few of them…!
