I was surfing through Europe on Google Earth (this is for a school project) and I stumbled upon a country with no name, it’s located in between Lithuania to the north and Poland to the south next to the Baltic sea, I believe. Has Google Earth made a tiny little error by missing out that piece of land or whatever it is?

Or is it all ground transportation?
What’s the dominant way of travel in Europe? Plane, train, or car?
Do people in Europe fly between European cities when they travel? Which mode is dominant? And do Europeans drive?

I’ve been wondering why there is a little bit of russia located between poland and lituania. Why is it there? What is the history of it?

I was looking at the world map, and I noticed that there’s a small pocket of Russia between Lithuania and Poland, detached from the rest of mainland Russia. I’m wondering how this happened. Some historical information would be greatly appreciated

Example: Berlin to Moscow, Paris to Rome, Rome to St. Petersberg.

Trade between Russia, Lithuania shrinks against 2008 – Putin

What would you suggest if I wanted to fly to Paris and spend a few days then go to Amsterdam and spend a couple days and then fly back to the US from Amsterdam?

Renting a car is outrageous and nearly as expensive as flying if you drop it off in another country and the only trains I can find take a long time to get from point A to point B and they are expensive too.

Know of any other rail systems I don’t know about or any other suggestions?
