Trying to learn about my Eastern European culture?
My ancestors came from East Berlin (before the wall went up), Eastern Slovakia, and maybe parts of Russia.
Whats unique to this type of culture? Im doing a project for my English class.
Can you go into just a bit more detail? Please?
Thank you, just to make sure, your Russian, right?
It sounds cool over there, a lot better than in America

most of the people are orthodox.
lets see, people generally live in the city or the country and those in the country have their own fields animals, etc. its like a little farm for each family…. in the villages, you dont have as good schooling as in the cities.
theres some other stuff too. that arent so great.. like smoking and drinking which is a lot more than in the us…
im not russian but where i come from is right next to russia.. so its similar.. besides, it was in the ussr too.
ok, so neighboorhoods/cities.. well everying is close like you dont have to drive to get to a store.. and the main place that people buy stuff is bazar which is like a marketplace, or ppl set up waht theyre selling, and other people buy stuff there.
transportation- not everyone owns cars. so ppl use public transportation or walk if they have to get somewhere.
